The charging situation is the #1 reason why I won't consider buying an EV. It's dismal. I can't charge at home, so would be entirely reliant on commercial charging stations -- which is, right at the start, a sacrifice because of the amount of time charging takes.
But if you disregard Musk's charging stations (which I do because I'm not going to willingly give a single dime to any Musk company), then the commercial charging situation is simply unworkable.
